Charles comes to The Center with a non-profit spirit and experience that dates back to his time in San Francisco as a volunteer, staff, and board member that continued here in Palm Springs with 5+ years at Desert AIDS Project as Volunteer Program Manager.
He served two City & County of San Francisco Treasurers’ as Banking Operations Manager and was a manager of banking operations for several different banking institutions for over 20 years.
He also was an early employee of the Recreation & Parks Department who began the clean-up efforts to create the AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park.
Charles’ early years were that of an aspiring performer and if you don’t already know, he sings a little.
The combination of a people person and operations is the unique skill set he brings to Palm Springs and now The Center.
