Dr. Heather Beeson, LMFT, DMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #120001) who completed a BA in Psychology at CSU San Marcos, an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University, and a Doctorate of Marital and Family Therapy at Loma Linda University. Heather has experience working in an outpatient setting, with training through Level II in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Heather has completed certification for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Late Life Depression and feels passionate about working in the LGBTQ+ community. Heather has been working at The Center since 2017. Heather is currently a full-time professor and has completed training as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists Approved Supervisor), which includes the necessary training to supervise future therapists.
