37.3 million Americans-About one in ten – have diabetes, and about 96 million Americans have pre-diabetes and are at risk for developing the disease, according to recent statistics. One in three Americans may develop diabetes by 2050 if something isn’t done to reverse the trend.

The number of people with pre-diabetes is overwhelming. Join Marielena Cid, MSN, RN, CDCES, for an informative overview about where to start once you have been diagnosed. Early intervention can help delay or prevent risks of diabetes complications. Your loved ones can learn how to prevent from developing diabetes.
