About the Event
HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) offers free unbiased Medicare Counseling to Medicare beneficiaries at The Center on the second Tuesday of each month. Program is back to meet in-person @ The Center by appointment only.
Free Services Include:
- Medicare Advantage Plans (HMO’s, PPO’s) Plan comparison.
- Medicare & Medi-Cal Managed Healthcare Plans.
- Supplemental Insurance (Medigap).
- Submitting Appeals.
- Medicare Savings Programs (MSP).
- Medicare Prescription Part D Extra Help/Low Income Subsidy.
- Understanding your choices.
- Troubleshooting billing issues.
- Referral to other resources
