About The Center

The Behavioral Health department is looking for a compassionate, experienced pre-licensed clinician to serve the LGBTQ community in the Coachella Valley. The Center is committed to the values of respect, excellence, inclusiveness, fun, and integrity. We are seeking a pre-licensed clinician who can help the Behavioral Health program expand services to better meet our mission, vision, and values.

About the Job

This position will work from the behavioral health department, meeting with clients in individual, couples, and family settings. We provide low-cost counseling based on a sliding-scale model. This position also requires connecting clients to community resources best serving their needs. Weekly individual and group supervision is required, along with certification in Riverside University Health Systems (RUHS) PEI program of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Late Life Depression (CBT-LLD). Group facilitation is also encouraged.

Pre-licensed Clinician Responsibilities:

  • Providing psychological services virtually and/or in person.
  • Daily/weekly documentation of client sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
  • Participating in training, supervision, and meetings.
  • Keep BBS number, liability insurance coverage up to date.
 

Pre-licensed Clinician Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related field with accompanying Associate’s number.
  • Experience and knowledge of the LGBTQ community.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Attendance and co-facilitation at weekly 2-hour group supervision. every Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the needs faced by LGBTQ adults and passion to meet those needs
  • Uphold the values of The Center and feel committed to the mission and vision of The Center
 

Salary Range

  • $18-22/hr
