A monthly gathering that offers a supportive community space for LGBTQ+ individuals with lived experiences of being children in immigrant families. It’s an opportunity to connect, share stories, and explore the unique challenges of navigating generational, cultural, and queer identities.
This is a new program and operates as a “for us, by us” space. This affinity space is exclusively for those who share this lived experience, creating a space for authenticity, solidarity, and belonging. Each session encourages meaningful exchanges, such as sharing origin stories or participating in activities shaped by the group’s collective interests. From cultural potlucks to documentary screenings and museum visits, the focus is on fostering connection, understanding, and celebrating the intersectionality of queerness and immigrant family dynamics.
