Position Title:<\/strong> Pre-licensed Clinical Trainee (Associate Level)
Reports to:<\/strong> Chief Behavioral Health Officer
Classification:<\/strong> Part-time up to 32 hours weekly
Term:<\/strong> Ongoing
Compensation:<\/strong> $22-$26 per hour, commensurate with experience
Location:<\/strong> Palm Springs<\/p>\n

POSITION SUMMARY:<\/strong>
The pre-licensed clinical trainee will meet with clients in individual, couples, and family settings providing low-cost counseling based on a sliding-scale model. This position also requires connecting clients to community resources best serving their needs. Weekly individual and group supervision is required. Group facilitation\/co-facilitation is also encouraged. We are a clinical training\/internship site where clinicians work to accrue the necessary hours towards licensure. <\/span><\/p>\n

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\u2022 Providing psychological services in person and\/or virtually.
\u2022 Daily\/weekly documentation of client sessions.
\u2022 Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
\u2022 Participating in training, supervision, and meetings.
\u2022 Maintain appropriate board number (associate-level clinicians) and liability insurance
coverage up to date.<\/p>\n

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related field
with accompanying associate\u2019s number.
\u2022 Experience and extensive knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community.
\u2022 Comfortable using a computer, EHR, and Microsoft Suite for various tasks.
\u2022 Attendance and participation at weekly 2-hour group supervision every Wednesday from
4:00-6:00pm.
\u2022 1-hour weekly supervision with direct supervisor.
\u2022 Bilingual (Spanish\/English) strongly preferred.
