Amy is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of La Verne, while also providing services as a clinical trainee at the Behavioral Health @ The Center - Scott Hines Mental Health Clinic. She completed her B.A. in Psychology at Texas A&M University in College Station and has previous experience working in crisis settings. Amy’s research interests focus on LGBTQ identity development, particularly as impacted by intersecting identities of race, ethnicity, culture and religion. Her clinical passions include aiding LGBTQ individuals in discovering and accepting their full selves, as well as engaging in community psychoeducation and advocacy to strengthen the unity and acceptance from within the LGBTQ community.
