|Program Description||Many of us are looking for connections to something greater than ourselves. This search for some connection with the Divine has led queer folk to explore many different religions and faith traditions. This group provides a safe place to discuss all aspects of what it means to be queer and spiritual. We explore, learn and support each other on our individual spiritual journeys without judgement, fear or expectations.|
|Instructor Biography||Nathan Sobers is passionate about integrating spirituality and sexuality in an effort to heal the spiritual wounds caused by organized religion's rejection of queer folk. Nathan believes that there is no single path to connecting with the Divine and that truth is found in all faiths and traditions. He is a regular guest on KGAY 106.5's morning show and is the Organizing Pastor of Stonewall Ministries, a church reaching out to the LGBTQIA+ community in the Coachella Valley. Nathan lives in Cathedral City with his partner JB and Bandit, a 3lb. teacup chihuahua who is the absolute boss of the house.|
