Alicia is dedicated and passionate with a wealth of experience and a heart full of commitment to the community. A proud alum of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, she has a strong academic foundation that laid the groundwork for a distinguished career at Avnet, a Fortune 200 global electronics distribution company. During an impressive 30-year tenure, Parrill excelled as a director, providing crucial support to Fortune 100 American companies with a global reach. Through strategic planning in concert with her clients, she developed unique solutions for complex problems.
In addition to her professional achievements, Alicia has made significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ community, serving as Co-Chair for HRC in the DFW area where she led the local team in the fight for equality under the law. After retiring, Parrill embarked on a new and fulfilling chapter of life. Meeting and marrying the love of her life, Ellen, the couple has embraced family life with their three French bulldogs. In 2023, the Parrills relocated from Dallas to the vibrant Palm Springs area. Here, they enjoy the sunny skies, engaging in their favorite activities such as playing golf, working out, and socializing with their cherished friends.
