Elizabeth Pritzker
She/Her

Elizabeth is the founding and managing partner of Pritzker Levine LLP, a “small but mighty” law firm that represents consumers, shareholders and businesses harmed by corporate wrongdoing and unfair competition, and counsels clients in First Amendment-related matters.  While the firm she leads is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Elizabeth leads cases throughout California and around the United States.

Elizabeth joined the Center of the Desert Board in 2024, and brings prior experience leading a non-profit public interest law firm.  She has held leadership positions in minority bar associations for decades, including serving on the Board of BALIF,  the nation’s oldest and largest association of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTQI) persons in the field of law, where she headed the judicial nomination evaluation program to increase LGBTQI representation on our state and federal courts, and led a mentoring program to provide LGBTQI law students and new lawyers with mentorship and leadership opportunities in their firms, organizations and communities. In 2020, she conceived, fundraised for, and launched a law school fellowship program, managed by the California Lawyers Foundation and the California Lawyers Association, that is dedicated to increasing the participation and visibility of diverse and underrepresented lawyers in the practice of antitrust and unfair competition law – Elizabeth’s legal specialty.   In 2022, Elizabeth became the first out lesbian lawyer to earn the California Lawyers Association honor of “Antitrust Lawyer of the Year.”

Elizabeth and her wife Patricia have owned a home in Palm Springs since 2010.  Although they commuted between Palms Springs and another home in Oakland, California for a decade, since the pandemic, their lives and work have been centered in Palm Springs where they enjoy hiking, biking, walking, and all of wonders the desert has to offer.
