Kristie Dore is the Director of Event Services for The Palm Springs Convention Center. During her tenure at the center over the past 11 years, she has directed the execution of important community events like the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala, The Chase Awards, Palm Springs Modernism Show and Sale, Well in The Desert’s Annual Christmas Meal, The Harvey Milk Breakfast and many others, along with conferences and consumer events that bring thousands of visitors to Palm Springs each year. Kristie is an active member of the Special Events Planning Team for the City of Palm Springs and a member of the Leadership Coachella Valley Class of 2024. Kristie is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University. She moved to Palm Springs in 1995 and was the first Director of Marketing for the Spa Casino. Kristie has two adult stepsons and a son, Matthew, who attends the University of Oregon. She lives in Palm Springs with her husband, Patrick and their two basset hounds, Lucille and Gigi.
