About The Event
Recommended textbook: Easy Spanish Step-by-Step by Barbara Bregstein, available on
Amazon ($13.90).
Learning Spanish is an adventure which offers us a window into beautiful cultures and a linguistic passport to 20 nations.
Beginning Spanish is a foundational course which lays the groundwork for the development of eventual fluency. The course will take a natural approach to the acquisition of basic skills by focusing on their application in real life contexts. Students will learn how to converse and communicate in situations they will encounter in Latin America or Spain.
Beginning Spanish will engage students in active learning and offer tools to accelerate the acquisition of language skills.

Marc Becker is the instructor. He has a Doctorate in Education and a Spanish language diploma from the Instituto Cervantes in Spain. Marc has pursued a lifelong career in education and taught English to adult Spanish speakers for 14 years.
