“Let go of self criticism, doubt, and insecurity that undermine your creative energy. Free your creativity and fully engage yourself in making ART!” -Dean Nimmer, Professor Emeritus, Massachusetts College of Art in Boston
This 8 week course will allow you to explore your artistic nature – WE ALL HAVE ONE, but too often we are too shy and/or too critical to free ourselves and delight in the joy of creating ART. This course will allow you that freedom within exercises that culminate in pieces that represent YOU.
Materials needed: crayons, colored pencils, markers, water paint, charcoal.
Anthony (Tony) Mosca has studied Art since childhood beginning with courses at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. His Art education continued throughout his school years through H.S. At university (awarded both a BA and an MS), he studied with private teachers attending studio classes. At this time, he began to show in New York City and Boston. Over the years, he has been represented by galleries both in New York City and in Paris, France. In 2019, he was awarded a residency at The American Academy in Rome. He relocated permanently to Palm Springs in 2020. He continues to paint at his studio and his work can be found at tonymosca.com.
