In a time when LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face heightened threats to their safety and well-being, equipping ourselves with self-defense skills can be an act of both empowerment and resistance. Building confidence in how we carry and protect ourselves is essential, especially in a world that too often challenges our right to exist freely.
Join us for a two-hour self-defense workshop designed as an affinity space specifically for Trans* and Gender Expansive individuals seeking practical tools to support their personal safety. The session will focus on breath control, situational awareness, and standard physical techniques, incorporating both verbal instruction and hands-on practice. Taught in a trauma-informed and affirming environment, this workshop welcomes all skill levels and physical abilities. Come as you are, ready to learn, move, and build confidence in a supportive space centered on our community’s unique needs.
