He/Him

charles@thecentercv.org

Charles returns with history in volunteer management and development at The Center, and at various other non-profits in Volunteer Management and Programs. An east coast transplant with careers in performing and banking, Charles’ work on the west coast started in San Francisco as a banker, civil servant, and then non-profit work. The non-profit sector is where he found his niche. All aspects of the non-profit experience have been touched upon; board, volunteer and staff have all been part of the journey. Black Coalition on AIDS, The Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 100% College Prep Club, Desert AIDS Project/DAP Health and Mizell Center are just a few of the organizations Charles has lent his talents to. His return to The Center as Director of Food Security is in line with his commitment to being of service.

No one in America should be hungry!
