Dr. Christopher Hawkey (he/him/his) is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY #30843) in the state of California and is a clinical supervisor at The Center. Christopher was trained at the University of Colorado Boulder, Duke University School of Medicine, and the Portland DBT Institute and specializes in providing CBT and DBT to adolescents, adults, parents, and families. Christopher’s past research focused on suicide and self-harm in adolescents with bipolar disorder and family factors influencing the course of mood disorders in adolescents. Christopher takes special interest in adapting evidence-based treatments for use with historically marginalized communities including the LGBTQ+ community. When not conducting or supervising treatment, Christopher loves to spend his free time working out, tending to his fur babies (two shih tzus), exploring the local hiking trails, or hosting/attending a pool party!
