Jewel is a graduate student majoring in marital and family therapy with a specialization in medical family therapy. She majored in psychology as an undergraduate and worked in various positions to gain more experience while obtaining her education. Jewel has worked in schools and provided in-home services. Additionally, she completed her practicum at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. Jewel worked in the pediatric cardiac ICU and was part of the palliative care team, working with chronically and terminally ill patients. Although she mainly worked with adults during that period, Jewel has prior experience working with children and adolescents.
