We’re working at building a community that follows Jesus’ way of life, a way that models love demonstrated through inclusion. At Hope, followers of Jesus are fully included in all aspects of the life, leadership, and sacraments of the church regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We think the truth about life just may be love and love just may be the way. Our values focus on developing a growing relationship with Jesus, reaching out to all people of the world to share His love, and worshiping God (not tradition).
The Hope For All ministry strives to spread the hope and love of Jesus to all LGBTQ+ people by being a safe place and a resource to both our church members and outside communities. We understand that there has been much discrimination, and even violence, against this group and many of us have experienced it personally. However, we know that this is not the way of Jesus and we want more people to know that. We are working to be an agent of change by providing educational events on campus, offering book discussion groups, and doing community outreach.
