The LGBTQ+ and Friends Al-Anon program is designed to help those people who have been impacted by the alcoholism of a loved one. Al-Anon reinforces that no situation is really hopeless and that it is possible to find contentment, and even happiness, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not.
The class design is for older adults noticing memory issues and/or balance challenges. The exercises promote blood flow to the brain, create the birth of new neurons in the memory and learning center, and re pattern responses in fall risk scenarios.
Basic Spanish 1 is an 8 week foundational course which lays the groundwork for the development of eventual fluency. The course will take a natural approach to the acquisition of basic skills by focusing on their application in real life contexts.
