About The Event

Strokes affect nearly 800,000 Americans each year, contributing to about 140,000 deaths and forever changing the lives of stroke survivors.

To understand stroke, it helps to understand the brain. The brain is responsible for motion, sensation, speech, memory, emotions, even major body functions such as breathing and digestion.  Come learn about Stroke Risk Factors and how to prevent a stroke or another stroke.

NOTE: Events and programs are presented in English unless otherwise stated.
