About The Event

Join us for this all-levels improv course! Together, we will create a welcoming and supportive environment to try new things, take a few risks and make new friends all while learning, developing and honing an improv mindset. 

In this course, we will focus on being present, supportive, spontaneous and imaginative. Through improv games and exercises we will flex our listening, creativity, collaboration and storytelling muscles. 

This course is appropriate for beginners or those with experience. 

Facilitator

Andrew Weiss is an alumni of Upright Citizens Brigade, iO Chicago and The Second City and is the current president of Bandit Theater, a non-profit improv theater in Seattle. Andrew has been improvising at festivals all over the US and was recently invited to perform at the Coachella Valley Improv/Comedy Festival, the Hi-Desert Fringe Festival and IMPRIDE. He loves creating courses for anyone wishing to learn an improv mindset and works with creatives, clinicians and executives. 

Additionally, Andrew is a Doctor of Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine, a Dog Dad and recently moved to the Coachella Valley!
