The L-Fund
at The Center

Through LIN, The L-Fund at The Center provides direct financial assistance to lesbians facing urgent needs, with payments made directly to service providers and suppliers. Support is available for a range of crises, including housing and transportation insecurity, unsafe or unhealthy living conditions, food insecurity, and other high-risk mental, physical, or emotional situations. 

Applicants must reside in the Coachella Valley or surrounding area. 

The L-Fund grant application process has five stages: 

1. Applicant submits an introductory application.
2. Applicant submits a more formal application and supplemental materials.
3. Applicant participates in a personal interview
4. The L-Fund reviews the complete application
5. If approved, a signed letter of acceptance is sent to the applicant and payment is made to the service provider. Payments are never paid directly to applicants.
