About The Event

Learn what to do in the precious few minutes waiting for 911 when a friend or family member has either a cardiac (heart) or pulmonary (lung) event causing loss of consciousness, or a choking event. You can make the difference between life and death or severe disability.  This course is designed, be the American Heart Association, to be taught to non-medical people who do NOT need CPR certification for employment but want to learn what to do in the precious few minutes waiting for 911.

Spots are limited and will be filled in order of response. 12 max (join waitlist for next month).

$5 charge for American Heart Association book.

Facilitator

Rochelle Ravishankara, MD, a new Palm Springs resident and a recently retired Emergency Medicine Physician of 37 years. She has taught life-saving skills to medical personnel at all levels. Her passion now is to show non-medical people just how simple it can be to save a life.
