Bringing Neighbors And The City Together
ONE-PS and The Center invite every Palm Springs neighborhood organization to participate in a friendly competition to see who can collect the most donations through July and August. This is a chance for neighborhoods to build community spirit and for neighbors to connect around a common cause while increasing donations to the Community Food Bank during a period of heightened need.
The Need Is High
One in four Coachella Valley adults has had to cut the size of meals or skip meals because they couldn’t afford enough food, and one is ten Coachella Valley adults has gone a whole day without food, according to the 2025 HARC Community Health Survey. The Center’s Community Food Bank provides grocery bags full of free food and pet food to more than 550 local households each week. Keeping the shelves stocked is always a challenge.
